HEY SORRY FOR BEING GONE

BUT I HAVE LOTS TO POST TODAY

OK, so the other day, I was looking at a blog and they were talking about this adorable blue female character that was named "Vivi". The art style was adorkable and cartoony so I naturally thought, "Hey, is this a TV show? I should watch it." So I searched up the title and came to a FREAKING AMAZING MUSIC VIDEO KNOWN AS "GHOST" BY MYSTERY SKULLS.
It's even more amazing because of the tragic-yet-ever-so-appealing story and cute-cartoony art style, as well as the fact that it spawned 60+ pages of fanart, cosplay, shipping, fan theories, headcanons, and maybe a fanfic or two in the single WEEK it's been on the internet. Is there a world record for fastest fandom creation? Now there is. GOOD JOB, MYSTERYBEN!

Here are some sketches of the characters from the vid that I made, whom are apparently named Vivi, Arthur, and Lewis. I would draw Mystery the dog too but I can't draw animals at all, hehe. ^_^" I apologize for the smudginess of some of the drawings, I kept blotting Arthur's pencil lines.

I had to do it...I had to...and that is the best Lewis I've drawn thus far.

He took a long time, but he's freaking awesome. I'm somewhat proud that I managed to draw him correctly.

AH, MY BABIES. I'm sorry, people. You can take the bara skeleton, I TAKE ARTHUR. ROBOT ARMS FTW!

A sad Lewis, a curious Vivi and some more Arthur, during and after the incident. ...And I noticed my unintention blotting of pencil created a cool lighting effect. YEAH.

I HAD TO. Suu and Wuu are the ghosts from the Sonic: Night of the Werehog short, and I just thought of them through the whole time Lewis was onscreen.

THEN I thought, "Switch Vivi, Arthur, and Mystery with Ryn, Sonic, and Chip." BOOM.

Seriously, tho. Check out the video. It's nothing but amazing.

Hey! I have some new things.

 

I now present May Girl and Ame ga Furu Mae Ni. I must say that my main objective with these works was to show Milkshake's childish innocence and her general happiness to be alive. Plus, I wanted to see how I could make color art that reminds me of books like Ivy and Bean or Finally.

 

 

 

POKEMON TRAINERS

OMGOMGOMG WHAT IS THIS?

THE TEAM WORLD ADVENTURE GIRLS AS TRAINERS?!

WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?

Ok, explanation: I was browsing deviantART when some very cute Pokémon gijinkas popped up in a "More Like This" list and I was suddenly inspired to draw my characters as Pokémon trainers. Which led to me looking up Pokémon types. Which led to me getting interested. Which led to this.

Now that I know all the Pokémon now, I created a little list to show what Pokémon my characters would have.

About the designs: Ryn was made up mostly on the spot, but as I got to know Pokémon the slightest bit better I changed it up a bit.

Fern was supposed to look awesome because she's supposed to be a really strong trainer (I added a headcanon that Fern acts all tough but is utter sugar to all her Pokémon).

Milkshake's outfit is actually just an alteration of her Sonic Riders design, just with a different jacket, a different hat, stockings and no goggles. I actually wanted her to be a little scarier as a trainer, because she's unusually powerful for a kid and she tends to look like she's ready to go Higurashi-style when she loses a battle (but doesn't do anything in the long run because she's...Milkshake). I also added that she snaps her fingers like Discord.

Buttermilk had to look soft and sweet because she's much gentler than Milkshake and isn't as strong with her Pokémon. She really tries, though.

Plus, I had an urge to draw lots of scarves, haha.

Ryn would have a Cherubi, a Seel, a Mienfoo, a a Espurr, a Frillish and a Scatterbug.

Fern would have a Meloetta, a Leafeon, a Pansage, a Petitil, a Snover and a Ralts.

Milkshake would have a Swirlix, a Vanillite, a Spinda, a Slyveon, a Mesprit and a Misdreavus.

Buttermilk would have a Whismur, a Minccino, a Froslass, a Chimecho and a Phione.

Today's art is just finished, and is my artwork for the dubstep song "Deception" featuring Megurine Luka.

I'd say this piece is set in the Senbonzakura arc of my Team World Adventure series, where Kuro's return ends up driving Fern mad and goes on a brief tangent.

I've been caught up in the ropes of summer and could barely think. There were doujins I was planning out and the MLP's Discord took over my mindspace and then I had to make a gijinka for him so I hardly got a chance to post.

I'm sorry, I've been delayed all week because I was making new November strips to kickstart the comic.

 

So! Art. Today's art shall be my improved version of Strobo Nights, which I have wanted to do for a while. Here it is!

As for music this week, I shall post the beautiful "Dear My Friend" by Brent Cash. I freaking underestimated this song in levels of feels and it seriously made me sob when I heard in Sonic Unleashed. Chip was the most adorable little dork and I sincerely miss him. Thank you, Archie, for bringing him back for the comics, though! (But I'm still mad that you keep teasing me with Werehog hints.)

Today is Sonic's freakin' 23rd birthday!! So, I made this art piece for him as a congrats!

I've loved Sonic since I was 7 (making that 7 years since I started loving him) and I can't believe he's this old. He'll be my favorite character forever.

 

Plus, he's just the most adorkable thing I have ever, ever, ever seen. >////<

Art Post of the Day #8

Today's art is the song artwork I made for the dubstep track "DTMer ni Shinchoku dou desu ka? Kiku to SHINU" (How Does a DTMer Progress? Listen and DIE) by Ocelot/Ginsuke.

I originally had a different version of this song artwork, since in my mind it felt like a sequel to "KUSOGE-". This was the original version:

However, I was bored one day and decided to redo it to make it look more like a video game gone horribly wrong (as I wanted KUSOGE- to look like a video game breaking down). The result was what I call the "Horror Version":

I added a blue screen of death, too.

So, yeah! Enjoy the creepiness!

(OK, mostly I was trying to shake off the fear from seeing a rather creepy Sonic CD sound test thingie but whatever I liked making this.)

Today's art post is for Vocastep song "TOKOSHIE", translated to English as "ETERNITY". There was a first version I made of this artwork, but I like the Redux version much better. Plus, Sonic's sword is freaking awesome.
I put some trivia in there, BTW. The symbols on Sonic's sleeves are actually a symbol for "air", referencing his "wind" techniques. ^_^

Art Post of the Day #4

Today's art is my latest version of the song "ALICE HUMAN SACRIFICE".

I LOVE this piece, I'm very proud of it, but DEAR LORD does it take a lot of work. I have draw it out, then edit it (which means darken the colors, brighten the eyes, put in a border, add in all the blood and then put the caption) which leaves me a little tired after making it.
It's worth it, though. Haha XD
